Q: What are the benefits of working with an executive coach or facilitator?

Being too close to an issue or challenge can be confusing, even paralyzing. As coaches and facilitators, it’s our job to help you see through the fog and move forward. We do this by bringing structure to the problem solving process, creating a space to step back and reflect, suggesting perspectives you may not have considered, and recommending exercises to build your skills and insights.

All of our work is grounded in professional and proven coaching methodologies, enhanced by our own experience and creative ability to customize the approach for each client. We bring an outside, objective perspective along with our honest, unbiased opinions. We create an open environment for people to speak honestly and constructively—helping bring to light those issues that can be difficult to identify and discuss, yet have an enormous impact on performance.

Even if you know what to do, doing it is not straightforward. There are thousands of management and leadership books out there—and we recommend a number of them. But no one learns to ride a bike just by reading a book or even seeing someone do it. A book doesn’t make a very good sounding board when you really need to talk to someone who can help you figure out what is right for you and your situation. Nor do books help you learn from mistakes, hold you accountable to your goals, or follow your progress. A coach is your real-time, real-person partner who joins you on your development journey and celebrates with you as you are reaching your destination.

Q: What is the investment?

The monetary investment required varies by client need. After an initial (complimentary) consultation, Diamond Insight will define our fees in a written proposal. For most situations, we can offer a range of solutions at different price points.

Beyond fees, there is also the investment in time and energy that clients must make to realize successful outcomes. Again, this will vary from client to client. We can discuss expectations—and what is realistic for your unique situation—during our initial consultation together.

Q: How do we get started?

Across our coaching and facilitation services, the “start-up” process we follow is essentially the same. First, we meet with you and collaborate in assessing your situation and identifying the most appropriate services for your needs. This initial consultation is free, enabling us both to explore your need and assess our chemistry. After meeting, Diamond Insight prepares a customized proposal that defines in writing the outcomes you want to achieve, the approach for working together, the timeline for this work and the investment required.

To schedule your initial complimentary consultation, contact us via this site or call (571-215-5299).
