Virginia Diamond is a certified coach and consultant specializing in helping rising mid-level managers and executives navigate complex career challenges to become more effective leaders.
Her firm, Diamond Insight, offers a full spectrum of leadership development services—from group and one-on-one coaching to team development and classroom training. She has successfully guided clients through a range of challenges, and is passionate about strengthening people’s ability to: collaborate with others; take appropriate stands for their work and their values; be centered in chaos; focus on their priorities and achieve their goals; and integrate work and life.
Virginia combines practical experience with rigorous training to guide her clients to achieve their goals. Prior to founding Diamond Insight in 2004, Virginia worked for more than ten years in the corporate world for Accenture, AMS (now CGI), and Booz Allen Hamilton. She has succeeded in both external and internal consulting roles, with clients spanning the public and private sectors.
Virginia holds a BA in psychology from the University of Chicago and a certificate in Organizational Development and Change Management from Georgetown University. She has been certified as a Professional Coach by New Ventures West and by the International Coach Federation. She is also certified as a Somatic Coach by the Strozzi Institute.
Virginia served on the faculty of Booz Allen Hamilton’s award-winning corporate university, where she taught and supported the design of several of the firm’s core management courses. She is certified to administer the PROFILOR 360º assessment tool and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). She is also certified to teach highly regarded seminars on management and coaching from Linkage, Inc. and Cylient. Virginia is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Organization Development Network, and Women in Technology.
