Vision & Mission

We believe that people can thrive both professionally and personally,
and that organizations thrive when their people do

Diamond Insight is guided by a vision for a world where individuals thrive at work—not just survive. A world in which people find work that is challenging and fulfilling, at a pace that is sustainable. Where teams are engaged as they work toward shared goals. Where businesses see that profitability and employee satisfaction are not a trade-off; each enables and strengthens the other. And where even the most driven, high-achieving professional lives by the principle that integrating work with life—not living to work—is an important key to success.

Here at Diamond Insight, we’re working every day to realize this vision by helping individuals, teams and organizations take control of their aspirations and goals, put work into perspective and develop the skills and strategies they need to be successful. Specifically, we help our clients:

Build skills

Skill-building is a core part of our work with both individuals and teams—from exploring more effective ways to resolve conflict in the workplace, to learning when and how to negotiate, to managing and developing people. The skills may vary from client to client but the target outcomes are the same: improved confidence and performance in the workplace.

Find focus

In fast-moving, high-pressure work environments, the ability to become calm in chaos is not only helpful, it’s critical. We work with clients to help them attain greater clarity and focus around what’s most important to them—liberating themselves from the negative cycle of allowing everyone else’s crises to become their own and spreading themselves too thin. To make more effective choices, we work on identifying strengths and potential blind spots and setting challenging but attainable goals

Take a stand—constructively

We work with clients on taking a stand—respectfully—for what they believe in and being appropriately assertive when it matters most, even if that means having the courage to say “no.” Sometimes we need to take a stand with ourselves, to better support ourselves and act in ways that serve us and our team. And sometimes we need to take a stand with a team engaged in group think. It’s not about challenging authority; it’s about finding productive ways to collaborate with colleagues at all levels and contribute to moving the team forward.

Manage change

Let’s face it: change is as unavoidable in the workplace as it is in life. Some people find it unsettling and difficult. And while change can be challenging—sometimes painfully so—there are proven strategies for proactively preparing for change and managing it effectively while it’s happening. Others find change stimulating, but their challenge is to stay focused in the excitement. We help our clients develop strategies and apply them to their own unique situations.

Achieve balance

Work can and should be a vital and essential part of life—but it is not the only part of life. Professionals who embrace this truth and integrate work into their lives not only experience greater personal fulfillment, but perhaps ironically, are also better able to achieve career goals. We help clients define what balance means to them and make conscious choices to create harmony in their lives.
